The restaurant

Our gastronomic restaurant, honoured with a star in the Michelin® Guide (since 1998) and three Gault Millau "toques", offers diners delicious cuisine bursting with flavour and creativity.

At the heart of the Allier Gorges, in a verdant and tranquil setting, chef Philippe Brun invites you to savour his carefully created dishes infused with local flavours in a refined and elegant dining room.

The chef, who holds this region very close to his heart, offers diners honest and contemporary cuisine, using the finest quality produce and packing flavour into every dish.

You are also sure to find the perfect wine pairing for your meal thanks to the comprehensive wine list prepared by Michelle Brun, who presides over our cellar.

Our chef

Our chef, Philippe Brun, is passionate about what he does, and strives to showcase the finest seasonal produce the region has to offer.
With different sources of inspiration, and occasionally combining local produce with Asian flavours, he provides diners with subtle fusions that are surprising, yet coherent.

On the menu, you can find (according to market availabilities) a symbiosis of crayfish and meadow mushrooms with Thai influences, pearl tapioca and fragrant Margeride regional herbs; moist freshwater monkfish cake, organic pearl barley and shellfish foam with Asian flavours; lightly caramelised sweetbread and morille mushroom fricassée; a twist on the traditional Vacherin dessert with a dome of strawberries, with a harmony of Tonka beans, ice cream, vanilla, Chantilly and rhubarb sorbet.

Information and booking

Our Michelin®-starred restaurant is open from mid-March to mid-November.

Closures :

Annual closure from mid-November to mid-March (groups welcome until mid-December)
Weekly closures on Mondays and Tuesdays

Service times: 

Lunch: 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Dinner: 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
